Sort Them Out

Image
It’s time sort things out and to relieve yourself of the plethora of ideas and thoughts that are constantly circling around in your mind. It’s time to sort things out and to categorize the various ways that God is using to speak to you in this hour. It’s time to gather your thoughts and begin to realize the benefits of understanding the categories of thoughts and ideas because that will help you gather your thoughts and to hear (in totality) what God is saying. Don’t just think that the thoughts are just running wild without structure and without meaning. God is using thoughts to speak to you.

For instance, if you start thinking of someone, then call, contact, or text the person. God has strategically dropped that person in your mind for a specific reason.

Just today, I was thinking of someone, called them, but was unable to make contact. Four hours later, I learned that at the very time that I’d called, that person was in great distress and needed to hear from someone who would direct their thoughts towards God. Even though I was unable to reach them, I thank God for the obedience that I was able to operate in. Even though the obedience did not yield what I thought it would, God still spoke to their heart and mind and they were ministered to mightily.

I can’t help but think that we underestimate and don’t give enough credence to the thoughts that God drops in our minds. They all have meaning and come to mind for reasons that we may not know or immediately discern, however they will most likely be revealed to us in the times to come.

So take the time to gather your thoughts. Take the time to gather your musings and ideas—for God is speaking to us and He does not speak to us in confusion. Rather, He causes us to be blessed by His decency and His order.

“Now all the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.” 1 Kings 10:24

“When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction.” Proverbs 24:32
